ummmm... it QXmen not Dan... and if you had actually looked at the video on that page it specifically says "riot police fire rubber bullets and tear gas" Yes, -Right! -it did say "rubber bullets!"
That is how I knew! -but that was not a part of QXmen's comment!.A police officer gave me some rubber bullets. I expected they would be soft, but they are very hard. So hard you can not begin to scratch them with your finger nail. I would not want to be shot with them at any distance. They are supposed to be fired into the ground so the fragments hit the legs. That often isn’t how they are used. They have been banned in many places.

When I would heard on the news “the police shot with a rubber bullet” I assumed a soft rubber bullet, until I had one. The army in the 60’s would practice in teams with paper bullets which had dye on them. If you got hit, the dye stayed on your clothes, and you were out of the fight. This was similar to but before paint balls.
