Does anyone know if workers are dwindling in numbers or holding steady or increasing? Just curious.
As the current workers are aging, are there young folk taking their place?

The workers numbers are down than in 1980s. The workers were FULL in the workers sleeping quarters, now they lost half of it due to health and stress they are no longer in the work.... There are young workers starting out but NOT many to fill all of the lost workers they lost.
God will raise up men and women to carry on the torch of Jesus Truth and Way to the time of Jesus returns as He has promised... Jesus said in Matthew and Luke before sending out the 12 and 70, "Pray to the Father that He will send forth more laborers/workers into His harvest." After almost 2000 yrs Jesus New Testament ministry and fellowship is still here on the earth, today.

Numbers seem to be stable here, with a good crop of young workers at present. And I do mean good and nice.

Hardly. Speak, -either you haven't sit in as many meetings as I have or else if is precisely as I said; --you are either completely deaf, not listening, or dissembling.
Sorry, but I tend believe that it isn't the first two reasons but rather the last one.
As you seem to think that you know more about what I hear and don't hear I can only concluded you are more like nathan than you think you are. Nope.
I know exactly what I and many others on TMB have also said, -that we heard often mentioned, esp. in conventions. Now if you say that you didn't ever hear it in your conventions, -there must be a reason.
Perhaps it is a Pragmatic stated: Probably because Speak, and I, live in NZ.
I'll accept Pragmatic' statement as perhaps your own reason. But it does amaze me that it was never mentioned in YOUR conventions!
Why were your young people NOT put through that same tough mill as our own young people were here in the states? Does seem to be rather unfair to me.

[/b] [/quote] This puzzles me also, that it is frequent fare in Australia but does not occur in NZ. Our administrations are fairly closely linked, sharing workers and many of the same customs.

possibly because america was seen as a base of operations for at least awhile, they cranked out a lot of workers in those days....

You know it's quite a simple thing to just believe that not all your experiences there are the same as ours here. I see that you accept statement but not mine, why?

You know it's quite a simple thing to just believe that not all your experiences there are the same as ours here. I see that you accept statement but not mine, why? It is not just MY experiences. Haven't you read all the posts about other's experiences? Has anyone agreed with you that their experience agrees with your own experience?
Perhaps the reason that it is difficult for me to accept your statement rather than Pragmatic's is because you tend to denounce all of the other professing people's statements in other areas of the world as illegitimate just because you seem not to have heard the same as we did.

All I wanted to start with was an explanation. I will accept Pragmatic's explanation.
