Good grief! I am retirement age. I remember those "how your body changes" movies in middle school. Nowhere did they show how to have intercourse, which I am assuming is meant by "how to do it". Cartoon or not, porn is porn.

Cartoon or not, porn is porn. I don't believe anyone needs to show ANYONE ' how to do it' ... unless they're a moron or mentally lame. It comes naturally. While I was just a kid I had dreams about sexual things ... and as life went on ... I started finding out that what I dreamed about doing was "normal" .... that everyone really does do those things. Noone needs to explain anything about sex especially to a child. They say that, with sex education in the schools, there are more pregnantcies going on then ever before. Sex is this most private and sacred possession we have. Leave it alone. Let it happen naturally. People have destroyed the privacy, the sacredness of our sexual being, and forcing discussion about this private possession publicly ... is a big mistake. Does anyone explain it to the bears, cows, crows, cats, dogs, horses and wart hogs? Yet, they figure out how to do it. I believe sex education is best kept in books in libraries and people will seek out that type of educational information when they're old enough and if they need advice/help in that area. Forcing this type of education upon prescious, impressional children is wrong in every way.

Would you not what that for your child? Sex education in school did not have any effect on whether or not I had sex. If you will, you will. If you won't, you won't.

Sex education shows there are less teen pregnancies. it fluctuates but the last stat i could find(2015) was about 200,000 teen mothers, gotta wonder if sex ed did anything for them... They say they're educating "teens" about sex. This is not true. They have gone so far now as to "educate" elementary school children about sex and have even messed with childrens' sexual identity and have them thinking they are displeased with the gender they were born with. They have confused many children about something they are not old enough to contemplate very deeply. Most children don't even think about sex. Bringing sex into the forefront of the minds of children and teens makes them think about it. It's like telling someone ' ... don't think about a big pink elephant ...' Then, expecting them to not think of a big pink elephant. In my opinion. It's promoting sexual permissiveness and causes the children and adolescents to think about sex and they even hand out condoms in some high schools. It's a wonder they don't hand them out in elementary schools, and who knows ... maybe they do go that far somewhere. I wouldn't be one bit surprised to hear that they do. Furthermore, I don't think male teachers should be allowed to "educate" adolescent females about sex, and female teachers should not be allowed to "educate" adolescent male students about sex. This promotes sexual involment of teachers with adolescents. Look at the cases, year after year, of young female teachers with adolescent males ... and young male teachers with adolescent girls. It starts with the feelings of permissiveness. There should at least be this limitation placed on sex education in high schools and there should not be allowed ANY type of sex education to elementary children other than elementary biology and science. This is just my opinion based on what I saw and experienced both in the orphanage and with foster families while growing up, and what I hear on the news from time to time yet today ... that the afore mentioned offenses against the minds of children and adolescents is still occurring. I believe fathers should educate their sons about sex, if they so choose, and mothers should educate their daughters about sex if they so choose ... not the government ... not schools or school teachers; but, if school teachers do it there should be limitations and rules placed at least on same gender teachers teaching same gendered children. Now, this opens up a whole can of worms ... someone may contemplate and question What about transgendered or homosexual adolescents and children. My opinion first of all is don't worry about the children. Leave them alone period! Don't talk to children about sex. It's not necessary. As far as adolescent transgendered children or homosexual children let them be counceled by councelors who are specially trained, and again, restrict it to the counselors have to be the same sex as the sex the adolescent was born with. Otherwise, leave it to the parents to get special training and the parents again, fathers to sons, mothers to daughters, counselling ... not the government via high schools nor elementary schools. Look at all the miscellaneous crapola going on ... for example young girls being told they have the right to not tell their parents they're having an abortion etc and being allowed to go get an abortion. It's a tough subject I know; but, in those situations, where a high school girl has gotten pregnant, there should be a law that her parents are informed and counselled by a trained counsellor on an immediate basis, not kept in the dark. Then, the parents and the adolescent councelled together. Afterall, there are laws on the books that if a parent or teacher abuses a child ... the child is taken from the home or the teacher is removed immediately from the school. Therefore, the legal system should have councelling laws that handle adolescent pregnantcies and the counselling of transgendered and homosexual adolescents.

Modern sex education will indeed reduce the number of pregnancies. How can it be otherwise. The way they are now promoting the ideas of gay relationships and gender bending in schools, etc., we will be heading for extinction before long.

If I'm not, I'm not. If I'm transgender, I'm transgender. If I'm not, I'm not. Educating children to accept that there are different sexual orientations and families in this world, does not change their sexual orientation. It teaches them that it's okay to be true to who and what they are. With all the hate and prejudice in the world that threatens the very lives of gays and transsexuals and others, education is important. Why is it wrong to teach acceptance and love?

Therefore, the legal system should have councelling laws that handle adolescent pregnantcies and the counselling of transgendered and homosexual adolescents. I disagree that young girls should have to tell their parents about an abortion or being pregnant. I have know too many incidences where they have told their parents that they are pregnant and they've been disowned by their bible thumping parents. This has led to girls having to fend for themselves at a time that is it very critical for them to have less stress, not more and have access to good healthcare. I have known of situations where the girl was so scared to tell their parents that they attempted to abort by themselves. I have known them to starve themselves so no one could tell they were pregnant, wear baggy clothes to conceal it, and then go into labor in their bathrooms and deliver the baby themselves and then they would have to get it out of the house and leave it somewhere. Some leave it at a hospital door, but some leave the baby in a dumpster. So if sex education can prevent the pregnancy in the first place, and studies do show that teaching about how to prevent pregnancy and disease helps reduce the numbers, then it makes sense for all teens to have sex education. Learning it from someone that doesn't know a whole lot more than they do isn't the answer. Most of what they will learn won't come from their parents, who won't talk about it other than to say abstain. Most of it comes from peers or learning the hard way. Why anyone would be against education is beyond me. If we could prevent unwanted pregnancies then we wouldn't need abortions or loose our young girls in failed self abortion attempts or lose babies that are abandoned by scared young girls.

The way they are now promoting the ideas of gay relationships and gender bending in schools, etc., we will be heading for extinction before long. That's absolutely ridiculous. Homosexuality isn't contagious or a chosen lifestyle. It can be something they might experiment with but if you are heterosexual that will be all it is and they will definitely be attracted to the opposite gender because that's how their brain chemistry is wired. To say that information about homosexuality or transgender creates it is so misguided. For those that are homosexual or transgender, they should be able to have a source where they can go and feel safe to understand why they are feeling things that the majority of the population don't. No one just chooses to be either of these. Why would they when the majority of the world are so against them? That makes no sense, but those who feel it's a choice march this inaccurate belief out all the time. You can't cure whatever you are. Do you feel that knowing about homosexuality makes you want to be less heterosexual? No? Well then why do you believe it's that way for anyone else?

It's in all species, not just humans. It's been around, probably as long as there were genders. It wasn't always such a negative thing either. Many cultures actually revered their homosexual citizens. I know many Native American tribes did and also African and South American tribes. It's the monotheist religions that have made it a sin and made it so hard on those who are homosexual. Their prejudice is really uncalled for. It was started by the Hebrews who were a small tribe that decided they needed to populate as much as possible. They weren't against women homosexuality either, just men. It was Paul that made it wrong for both genders to be homosexuals. Hebrews were against masturbation too, likely for the very same reason. It didn't produce kids.

Sex is this most private and sacred possession we have. Sacred? A belief left over from the ancient times when eternal life meant producing children to live on after you. Explains the horror of OT women who were baren.
