Mueller did not find enough evidence to charge Trump with obstruction of justice but he stopped short of exonerating him. The Mueller investigation was limited in scope. The followup work by the Southern District of NY will not be limited. Neither will the work of Congressional committees. Trump and his three eldest children shouldn't breathe easy just yet. Correction: Mueller did not declare that there was not enough evidence to charge the president, he left it to Barr and Rosenstein to make the call.

Mueller did not exonerate Trump of obstruction of justice. In addition, Mueller passed potentially criminal findings outside of his scope to the Southern District of New York. Let these investigations continue.

Wally, I would keep the cork in that champagne bottle for the time being. I am not surprised that Barr has elected to follow down this path. He is the Presidents man and this shows, even before he was appointed to this position. Other agencies are still investigating Trump, his family and his cronies. They will not be snookered by Barr.

It's not the role of an investigator to indict anyone -- that's the role of the prosecutor, in this case the Attorney General. What you have heard is the knee jerk reaction of the Attorney General, who was appointed by Trump, who has loudly condemned Mueller's job before he was appointed, and after he read the thousands of pages in 9 hours yesterday. I told you -- this was never going to be the end of the story by any means.

You are forgetting that there are state agencies investigating the family.

It's a bit unfortunate, but his family are probably more likely to be indicted before him. It's much too soon to know if there will be any indictments for Trump himself - him being the President. I've just purchased the book Kushner, Inc. to see what all they've been up to.

I think it was a smart move on Mueller's part. No one wants to see him be able to escape or grant pardons. I bet he never wants to NOT be president! That's when the sh*t hits the fan for him and his family imo. He better enjoy his time now because I think he might just wish he'd never run for president. As a mere civilian he flew pretty much under the radar... now, not so much!
