I don't know how many songs on the album are his songs but I know many of them are.
www.youtube.com/results?search_query=marcelito+pomoy+duet+album
They are people who enjoy listening to music, many of them are Vocal coach/teachers.... They are NOT paid listeners professionals. They are REAL people! and they are the ones going to buy his Americans duets two voices Albums. I hope he will have a few and they are collectors records one of a kind. SELL by millions I am sure.
nathan I think you will find very few of them are actually vocal teachers ! As for the other version of Adele's Rolling In the Deep..... there are no words imo !!! Its nothing like the original and no where as good either ! She murdered a great song !

I have listened to Adele Rolling in the deep song for many years! I know most of Adele songs, BUT now I like the Philippine female version of the Rolling in the deep better! Wow. She is awesome, what an artist and entertainer. My hat is off to her. ~~ Another GREAT awesome reactions from Female/Philipino KZ singer... singing ROLLING in the deep in China Talent competition show.

Comparisons are not productive and in the music world are entirely meaningless. Think of the odd voice that Bob Dylan or Tom Waits have yet despite that have huge followings of fans yet will not appeal to everyone. They both write their own music. I am not much of a fan of country and western but I understand that some poor misguided souls love it. Good luck to them. Each to their own taste but please avoid the crass generalizations and comparisons. get out much there curly? comparisons are made all the time in the music industry even by those IN the music industry.... I certainly do not go to to mushy music performances like Dion/ Bocelli. It would be a bit like drinking milk when there is meat available.

Both of those I mentioned are infamous for their lip syncing. Particularly MV who had to return a grammy and return money. Carey just looked really stupid when caught out.

** The Philippines gov't presidents and high ranking officials are corrupts so the people suffer greatly with poverty. Through poverty comes forth many namazing singers, who tried compete in China, Korea, Maylasia, Japan, UK, US and other countries hoping to land records deals, so their families have better life in the P.I. or aboards. The gospel is getting a better response in the P.I. because MANY of them see there is NOT much of a life that they have so they long for the NEW earth and heaven.

Through poverty comes forth many namazing singers, who tried compete in China, Korea, Maylasia, Japan, UK, US and other countries hoping to land records deals, so their families have better life. The Philippine society is an example of the harm of mixing government and religion. I see it's a very Christian nation with 81% being Roman Catholic. and only 0.08% have no religion. Here is an interesting comment to an article in The Economist " Why is Spain so corrupt? "Is it a coincidence that corruption is being associated with Spain's being a catholic country, that is so in the Philippines. The church in the Philippines try to convince that it is a moral factor in the country, but let me point to some facts: Almost the entire business, political and intellectual elite are products of catholic institutions for their entire education, and our leaders are so corrupt. The church condemns gambling but accepts government donations and subsidies from gambling. Local priests have as their patrons, for the buildings and the accoutrements of a costly church, the local thief.
Elite education is solidly controlled by the church. They have used this as a tool to retain their hold on society, not to advance it. We have no divorce, but the rich can usually recourse to an expensive church annulment. There is a bill in congress for reproductive health. Basically, it would diddeminate information and tools for family planning on the local level. The church has opposeed it fiercely, even mobilizing their elementary school children to protest in the streets against it. What do these children know, and what will they learn?
It is true that any sin, even murder, can be forgiven by the easy way of confessing to a priest, saying you are sorry, and doing penance, (usually, a mantra of 60 Hail Mary's said one after the other.)
The church does not make the individual responsible to society. With it as the sole intermediary betgween people, God and morality, it has led to a failure of chain of responsibility. Meanwhile, the church flourishes, and filipinos , in their ignorance are happy that they are satisfying the church and will go to heaven, as the rich commit sin after sin and the poor get hungrier"

I have met a few Filopino farm workers who come over here to milk cows. There's also plenty of them working in cafe's and construction. Our easy going way of life with options for earning good money would be a complete change for them.

These X factor and Got Talent shows are just singing cartoons. There is seldom any career singers or musicians come of them with only one or two exceptions I can think of. The shows are more about the judges facial expressions and banal comments. If you truly enjoy music get out and go to concerts, even if it is the local bar music. After all, that is where some truly big names in the music world started their careers. I am just listening to Madonna singing "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" Her part as Evita in that show was perfect for her personality and voice which with age has developed some beautiful tone. Thankfully she seems to have left the pop scene behind. www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdX33CqIRTI

I have just spent 10 minutes listening to them and no thanks, they all do the mushy pop genre. It might make them rich and famous for a year or two but I doubt they will be round for decades. Music is a brutal world and your examples are exactly like thousands of others. They do not stand out in any way. Try this for a good musician. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6o6zMPLcXZ8
