I thought it was interesting that he wanted Bush Jr and Obama to do his eulogy and he also requested that Trump not attend his funeral. Is this true or just media fake news?

According to his daughter, yes. It was discussed quite a bit in the media when it was learned about his wish. Speculation was that Trump may crash the funeral anyway.

Yes, I saw that! Thought that was petty and not behavior that we should see from someone in a professional position. Sad actually.

McCain was one of the Keating five. McCain sicced the IRS on the tea party. Don't put your faith in the sons of men, not even war heros.

Good for him!

I know right? Those evil socialist hating personal responsibility loving bastards. This tea party.
Tea Party movement From Wikipedia
The Tea Party movement is an American conservative movement within the Republican Party. Members of the movement have called for a reduction of the national debt of the United States and federal budget deficit by reducing government spending, and for lower taxes.[1][2] The movement opposes government-sponsored universal healthcare[3] and has been described as a popular constitutional movement[4] composed of a mixture of libertarian,[5] populist,[6] and conservative activism.[7]
It has sponsored multiple protests and supported various political candidates since 2009.[8][9][10] According to the American Enterprise Institute, various polls in 2013 estimate that slightly over 10 percent of Americans identify as part of the movement.[11]
The movement began following Barack Obama's first presidential inauguration (in January 2009) when his administration announced plans to give financial aid to bankrupt homeowners. A major force behind it was Americans for Prosperity (AFP), a conservative political advocacy group founded by businessmen and political activist David H. Koch.
It is unclear exactly how much money is donated to AFP by David and his brother Charles Koch.[12]
Following a February 19, 2009 call by CNBC reporter Rick Santelli on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for a "tea party,"[13][14] over fifty conservative activists agreed by conference call to coalesce against Obama's agenda and scheduled series of protests, including the 2009 Taxpayer March on Washington.[15][16] Supporters of the movement subsequently have had a major impact on the internal politics of the Republican Party.

It's clearly evil. All means should be employed to desecrate it, even illegal and unconstitutional ones. Just like the Sabbath was made for man, the Constitution was made for illeberals, to be altered and updated regularly according to our perfect religion of high, high people.

So you're in with the Bob, it was ok to persecute and harass the tea party with the IRS. And you wonder why Trump was elected.

In your case, you're like the fireman who starts fires and put them out to play hero. You imagine America is a racist, mysogenist country, and probably told all your students that. That's the narrative that suits you, because it justifies your superior feeling.
