Trump is going to get everyone killed! Poking a crazy man with the h bomb stick is just stupid. How did we end up with two crazies with H bombs for toys?

It is not unheard of for a politician to get involved in a war so as to sidetrack people from issues at home. Hopefully his army staff read him the riot act.

Letting a loser like Rocket Man gain the ability to threaten the American homeland with nukes would be stupid. I doubt America would use nukes. They could neutralise the North Korean military without using nukes.

The ones that are really scared of Trump and Kim are the South Koreans, they have 20 million people a few km south of the border. Studies by the strategists that I have read reckon there would be enormous loss of life south of the border before the USA could take out North Korea. And they do not have a good track record of success lately.

He would think differently now....if he was still alive.

Sorry Fixit, but I do not think like Otto at all. In fact he seemed to put any thought into his actions.

He pretty much hated the world equally, now he's out for blood because Trump is an idiot that thinks it's smart to poke a crazy man with nukes.

If nuclear weapons are used in the area, all the surrounding countries are going to be in trouble too. Enough are used and we will see world wide repercussions.

They've used them before, and Trump professes to LOVE them. But you need a solid plan for what is to take place after the neutralization. The US didn't do so well with Iraq, and Trump knows far less about policy formation than Bush ever did.

NK has been seeking to target the US since they got the bomb which is way before trump...

Unless the US rules the whole world, how is that to be accomplished? better us than someone else i say... The US pulled back from world affairs after WW1 and ended up having to clean up the very costly mess that resulted.

Some consideration been given to assinatting Kim...but it's said if that happened China and Russia would join in war against US.

Trump's generals are doing their best to keep Trump from going ballistic with nukes, and trade off has been letting himget by with offensive rhetoric and empty threats. Name-calling. As well. It's like watching a show about two spoiled rotten kids saying "nanananan, I can whoop you and all your friends.". The other replies, "you'll think nanananan, when I get through blasting you to kingdom come.". Then more name calling, more bristling of their hackles until one of them has a no-return temper fit.

You see my name and read it as though I'm being combative. YOU SAID that Kim Jong In shouldn't have been allowed to arm himself as he is, and I ASKED YOU how that might have been accomplished, seeing that the US has tried for decades to prevent it -- to no avail.

Ive suspected a long time should US get into war with N. Korea that Russia will be on their side. And likely China as well.

Yes, Russia and China could have stopped NK from getting Nukes. The West didn't give them a good enough reason not to. Tighter sanctions would have been hard, but a better option than allowing NK to own nukes that could threaten US territory. There is a military option and there is a sanctions option. Either one would stop NK from threatening world peace. Neither are easy.

During the cold war that may have been the case. Russia and China have way too much to lose now. According to reports of the great war weapons Russia has and China links up with them against the US. Seems US would be the big loser. Japan and Germany once thought that. Russia has Nukes, but a weak economy and a comparatively weak military. Compare Russian aircraft carriers with what the US has. China would be a poor country without trade from the US and its allies.
