I just want to point out how pervasive physical abuse of children is in 2x2ism, that 2x2 ministers would be joking about things like this. Things which are illegal, let alone horribly immoral. I know for a fact, and it has been confirmed on this thread, that 2x2 ministers encouraged 2x2 members to physically abuse their children. Bawling is illegal? (sp?) Pretty sure it was illegal in almost every state in the union for a long time. Some states it is still illegal. Careful where you travel!

Where and when was this illegal? I think bawling should STILL be illegal. Nothing like a bawling child or boss to send me to the alprazolam. Source: www.google.com/search?q=bawling&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8bawl bôl/ verb gerund or present participle: bawling 1. shout or call out noisily and unrestrainedly. "“Move!” bawled the drill sergeant" synonyms: shout, yell, roar, bellow, screech, scream, shriek, howl, whoop, bark, trumpet, thunder; More informalyammer, holler "“Come on!” he bawled" antonyms: whisper 2. weep or cry noisily. "she began to bawl like a child" synonyms: cry, sob, weep, shed tears, wail, whine, howl, squall; rareululate "the children continued to bawl" Origin late Middle English (in the sense ‘(of an animal) howl, bark’): imitative.

And with a child is definitely illegal in every state.

We workers affectionately called it "The Bawlroom" I just want to point out how pervasive physical abuse of children is in 2x2ism, that 2x2 ministers would be joking about things like this. Things which are illegal, let alone horribly immoral. I know for a fact, and it has been confirmed on this thread, that 2x2 ministers encouraged 2x2 members to physically abuse their children. I can confirm that I've heard workers encouraging spanking. I've never thought that it necessarily constitutes abuse, but it sounds like I need to reevaluate that view.

Is that what she calls a leash. Does she not know the difference between a leash and a scarf?

It was most likely a safety harness. Designed to keep toddlers safe.

Simpleton, when are you going to accept my invitation to meet up in real life?
I understand why you didn't like the idea of that last place I proposed.
How about this: We meet at the tomb of AH in the Trinity Churchyard Cemetery.
I work nearby-- on Liberty Street-- you name the date and time and I'll see you there.
I'll be the one in the dark trenchcoat, Harris tweed deer-stalker cap, smoking a pipe. Code phrase: You say "I'm in need of a six foot 2x2 - have you seen one around here?" My response will be "Not recently, but I used to be one."
Deal?

Perhaps the "mild mental illness" was not as "mild" as you thought. Perhaps it was in the child's best interests - better for the child to be at convention on a leash than locked up in an institution. Indeed. A dog collar and leash on a child is not necessarily abuse. It could be protective, and the best solution for the situation. Or not. No way to know without knowing the situation. Is it abusive to require a child to wear a bicycle helmet while biking? Is it abusive to strap a child into a child seat in the back seat of a car? Is it abusive to spike a hyperactive toddler's sippy-cup with Benadryl? Simpleton doesn't understand that some intellectually challenged children will run into danger the moment they're released.

It was most likely a safety harness. Designed to keep toddlers safe. No this was decades ago. It was not a safety harness since those were not invented then. It was a choke collar dog leash.

I remember the safety harness and leash from when I was very young, and I've got a whole bunch of decades under my belt. Have you ever explored 'created memories'?

I promise you I am harmless. You will find me personable, engaging, empathetic, and several other adjectives of your choosing.

Could Simpleton be RAM/he? he pulled our legs before with William Irvine's sister Dorothy letter? or he posted as Commander Val Thor. He got people really riled up. RAM was a very created writer. And so are you Nathan, credit where it is due. You have made up all that stuff about the hollow earth and Admiral Byrd. That must take hours and hours and hours. Did you go the same creative writing school?

Yes, I just pass on the information from those who had seen it with their own eyes. Just like Matthew and John who wrote the gospels of what they had seen and heard, and now We believe t what they wrote and saw when they were Jesus.I've always had trouble understanding the Trinity... Maybe someone could help me out and explain how Matthew and John were Jesus? It's a joke

The so called diary that Nathan quotes from is a hoax. Byrd was not even in the Arctic at the dates stated that he did this. The hoax is so poorly thought out that it must have been an idiot who dreamt it up.
