Drawing from your own and the experiences from others, what are some symptoms of someone leaving the fellowship? here is my list: 1. Less likely to pray for the workers or those "met in other gatherings as we are" 2. First gospel meeting attendance drops and then Wednesday night followed by Sunday morning attendance. The big convention/special meetings are the last to stop. 3.Changes in dress, hair, jewelry/makeup, etc.. 4. Making more friends outside of the meeting at school or work. 5. More boldness and less people pleasing tendencies.

Going on the internet looking for additional information about the Friends and Workers instead of believing unquestioningly what they say about themselves.

How about the fact they may be getting some fresh oxygen to their brain/soul from sources other than the tribe? This could lead them to fully pulling their head out of whatever they keep it in to please the workers image of right and wrong... Maybe they take notice of the workers hypocrisy? Workers live by the sword so of course must die by the sword (Of Truth)

It is hard for people to "keep on keeping on" when they are armed with information about the origins and secretive practices of the group. And some areas are much worse than others, I believe. The unchecked authority and faith that doesn't question mindset allows those at the top to abuse those at the bottom in some cases.

Less likely to pray for the workers or those "met in other gatherings as we are" No change I've never done this Gospel meeting attendance has never been a priority for me. Stopped special meetings and conventions before stopping Sunday mornings. I care about the people in the Sunday meeting more than special meetings and conventions. No change, while in meetings or after leaving. Yet No change. I've always had a mix of friends. Gradual change as I get older. No sudden change before leaving meetings. I commented on the statements above as these things vary person by person. Here are just a few of the signs the writing was on the wall for me: 1. Sudden interest in reading or talking about religion 2. Attending other Christian and non-christian religious services 3. More interested in talking about both the positives and negative aspects of the fellowship 4. Slightly increased interest in Mathematics and Science
