Some are related to how our adrenaline gland secretes adrenaline when we are facing an impossibly difficult situation . Amazing . Right? ?

I have 8 specialists keeping me alive for over a decade. My wife has 8 different specialists keeping her alive for over two years now, and her world is limited to the length of her oxygen tube. We average 2-4 medical appointments a week. One daughter suffers from fibro myalgia, and my other daughter is on a medical retirement pension at 42 following 4 spinal surgeries.

But I'd like to add, with respect to this thread. Despite my intense exposure to doctors, medical procedures, and intensive care units, I cannot imagine what any of it has to do with trying to determine who, what, when, where, why, or how humans came to be what they are.

It behoves those who believe in a designer god to glorify his handiwork and in this case, the human body. This video prompts questioning the reasons for the life span of the human species having increased in recent decades. There are a number of contributing factors for the premature deaths of humans throughout the ages and these include disease; congenital conditions; reproduction and violence. If the human body is so amazing, it should possess the innate ability to generate protective mechanisms against threats to its' survival. Yet we know that infinite numbers of people have suffered and died due to others of their own kind having violently attacked them. To assess if the human body deserves to be touted as 'amazing' we must adopt an holistic view and incorporate the psychological aspect. Why do humans tend to turn on their own kind? Is this part of the 'grand design'? ? The video shows the increase in the human life expectancy since the Industrial Revolution and as a result of social welfare programs and advances in modern medicine. Scientific advancements have had the greatest impact in prolonging human life and preventing and treating disease, injuries and neonatal and maternal morbidity which caused the death of infinite numbers of infants and mothers throughout the ages. What is amazing about the human body when mothers and/or their newborns die when survival of a species relies on reproducing? These deaths continue to occur in unacceptable numbers in 'third world' nations and remote areas: About 287 000 women died in 2010 of complications during pregnancy or childbirth . What does it take to ignore these facts and pretend that an omniscient; omnipotent and benevolent god continues to interact with ? just human life on this planet? What planet are those of you actually living on in order to blinker off the facts included in sites such as: trends of death and ancient epidemicsSeeing as those of you accept the parables it is claimed that Jesus used: Buildings are designed and constructed to resist both internal and external damage. Protective qualities are included so the construction endures and is not susceptible to the external elements nor weakened by use and exposure to internal factors such as termites. The designers and builders of structures which do not last have been sued for failing to create a secure and safe building. These individuals must lament that they cannot present the it is obviously god's plan excuseHow many people, whose lives are fraught with suffering and the knowledge they will die well before their time, would be justified in suing a supernatural designer (if there was one)?

Sort to hear this account , never in my entire life have a heard of such unfortunate situation On a secular level , you have every reason to feel pained in your life through no fault of yours Not sure even Dr John Bergman (from CA) could offer a reasonable cureall for you , but please do not give up on a treatment . Dr Bergman claims that even though fibromyalgia has been literally "impossible" to some, he has enjoyed a phenomenal rate of cures to his clients. His creed: dis-ease does not exist , it is the natural state of human body to heal itself, when we understand how to let it function in "ease" Hope you can get relief soon!

We're all being very well taken care of, and fortunately we have good times together, and fully enjoying our 2-1/2 year old granddaughter who is a very very happy child and a real entertainer.

It behoves those who believe in a designer ] How many people, whose lives are fraught with suffering and the knowledge they will die well before their time, would be justified in suing a supernatural designer (if there was one)? [ pure religion is to visit the fatherless and the widow IN their affliction, and keep Unspotted from this world. The etymology of the word "religion" involves the basic purpose of living (life) If we are aware of the purpose of life, we would understand that life is a gift from our creator to us, and we belong here for time til our creator allows us time. Everything comes from our Creator even love and justice.

Where did you get the notion that there is or ever was a PURE religion? Jas_1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. Paul didn't say that -- he spoke Greek and some Englishman decided it sounded good. And as for "pure" religion, yours isn't so pure, considering your differences of opinions with the workers.

We are human beings we have an inborn nature that makes wrong choices and then seeks to "self-justify".
It is real sad to think that even some parents do "cruel" things . It should be against civilized law?

True, the product of an amazing design, imo How will this amazing body design improve in say 100 years? So yes, we can see this as human technology that showcases that we have been created with an intelligent mind to create . (In his image) Let someone improve this ( robot) , so as to be able to not only stack boxes, but to reassemble itself ? Potentially we could have robots with artificial intelligence , (artificial life?) , the cwould be powered by a solar battery, and instructed how to maintain them. Then human beings can retire ! Hmmm *just joking

Human beings have done quite well at creating artificial plants and flowers !
They can look even nicer than real flowers maybe? (Most of the time!! )

If the human body is so amazing, it should possess the innate ability to generate protective mechanisms against threats to its' survival. It should at least have a system of Limulus amebocyte lysate like the horseshoe crab to protect against toxins. Maybe that's why the horseshoe crab is one of the more successful species. Fossils appear 200 million years before the dinosaurs!

pure religion is to visit the fatherless and the widow IN their affliction, and keep Unspotted from this world. I wonder if this means 'fatherless' in a biological sense? Seems like a small group to be visited!
