It seems like the definition is based on a mixture of poorly defined terms.0

Ethnicity is a good substitute. Boxing people only serves to divide. Does it really matter if your parents were born in Ireland? Or Oshkosh? Or Moscow? Perhaps there are better markers that will provide whatever information is required.

I like this answer. But, from what I have noticed of your contributions to this board, I do not think you live this. I can remember the moment, in leaving 2X2ism, I opted to join the "human" race. But, I still live this imperfectly, a couple of decades later. And I am beginning to understand that identifying as merely "human" may be pretty much as limiting as identifying as a 2X2.

does anyone want to explore the lack of diversity in the 2x2 church?

One reason is the lack of evangelism.
It used to bother me that almost only Anglos seemed to be saved. We believed that God hadn't opened the way for the gospel to be preached or heard by others or that their hearts were not open to it.

2 more reasons:
1) Anglos are prone to interpreting the Resurrection as spiritualists. Spiritualists believe the Resurrection means the escape from the body, not just in a local or temporal sense, but in an absolute sense. For better or worse the other races and cultures aren't as prone to betraying and denying their humanity.
2) Xenophobia is a pillar of 2x2ism
