Do you think the meetings will lose their only way belief and gradually evolve into a better way? From the only way to the better way?

Do you think the meetings will lose their only way belief and gradually evolve into a better way? From the only way to the better way? I know of a few people from other backgrounds who professed believing it was a "better" way. I think most probably believe that. In fact, the only such person who claimed he believed it was the only way before he professed was one of the battiest people I have ever met. As the convincing continues, better will become best.

That little two letter word contains a world of meaning.... IF

Do you think the meetings will lose their only way belief and gradually evolve into a better way? From the only way to the better way? I know this was a yes or no question, but We will be making great strides when we drop the word "Way" altrogether when referring to our fellowship. We need to call it what it is "our fellowship".....the people we fellowship with. I won't say it........yes I will.......Christ is the "way". But I get your point Walker, and its a good one. People in our fellowship are starting to realize ....very slowly.....that we are not "The Way"....but simply a group of God's people that fellowship together in certain, specified ways that we believe are close to the examples that Christ and others left behind.

Cherie, you claim you are a Dispensationalist. Do you attend a Dispensationalist church?
If so, does it share similar figures to that of the Protestant churches where only 7% of "believers" actually believe in the whole bible? And overall, only 9% of those "born again" believe in the whole bible. And what percentage of your ministers believe in God? 50% like the Protestant ministers?
In what way should my church become more like mainstream churches?
Could you please provide a list of your church beliefs, as opposed to ours, so we can compare? www.barna.org/barna-update/article/5-barna-update/133-only-half-of-protestant-pastors-have-a-biblical-worldview#.VeFT-PmzqIo

I can't speak to Cherie's church, but the Protestant church I attend has a pastor and a congregation who believe that 100% of the Bible is true and that God is Sovereign. And my church isn't at all unusual in that regard--hence the rapid growth of the independent churches now that many of the mainline churches have been overrun with liberal theology. God's hand is not shortened.

I would rather compare to what Christ taught.
We start comparing to each other, and it could get realy ugly for both sides

No I do not. We do not have a church home We do not attend any church regularly. We do not "belong" to a church and have never joined one. However, we do visit churches occasionally, and are not against them.

Do other Churches have their specified ways that lead to Christ? as we know there are many ways derived by man which supposedly lead to Christ

Thats like asking the way to get to your house, then asking the way to the way to get to your house? Maybe you don't totally understand HOW Christ IS the Way.

Maybe you don't totally understand HOW Christ IS the Way. i understand alright, and no need to shout if Christ be the way which He is as you have so eloquently shown and He be in you and you in Him and in your fellows then the way you are/walk is the way of Christ and how do you relate this Thats like asking the way to get to your house, then asking the way to the way to get to your house with Christ taught what the Father told Him to teach, the way to Christ or are you saying that is not true?
