I would like to issue an "alert" for any young person visiting the grounds this weekend. Most likely everything will be OK. But both ex-workers involved in the Michigan mess have ties to this area. Just keep your eyes and ears open. Report anything unusual to Barry or Mr. Chappell. Or one of the younger brothers/sisters. And don't hesitate to call the law if anything happens that shouldn't happen. I have heard unsubstantiated reports of one (either Messrs Mousseau or Briggs) visiting the grounds after Jerome put him out of the work in Michigan. Again, if you attend Milford, enjoy the feasting, fellowship and scenic grounds. But keep your eyes and ears open to anything that doesn't look or sound right. I just feel that somewhere on the net, this needs to be posted. I was shocked to hear that one of the Michigan perps attended this convention after the thumb of Michigan mess of 2006-13.

George Scandals will likely be there as well.

George Scandals will likely be there as well. That would be his convention all right. If he is on the "known offenders" list, I wonder if this means he is supposed to be supervised while around children? And the other two also?

It is my understanding that the 3 in question are no longer allowed on the grounds.

It is my understanding that the 3 in question are no longer allowed on the grounds. That seems more like it.

It is my understanding that the 3 in question are no longer allowed on the grounds. Oh, you and your facts spoil all the gossip! But the grounds are fairly open - one could speculate that someone could slip in unnoticed. Seriously, would the presence of any of the three present a real danger? Real danger would be to children who are not supervised and would come from the offenders who have yet to be identified.

When allowed to attend such functions, whether when I was in the work or not, had I known of these dangers then, I would have been part of any "policing force" assisting in the protection of all children and not just my own.
Unfortunately, after I was forbade attendance, my own young son was set upon and beat by a gang of boys in the men's dorm at convention. Why? because they said "his dad was too wicked for the workers to even allow at any meeting."
Where does anyone suppose they got such information? Anyway, it ended my son's desire to attend meetings. No CSA involved. Oh yeah, now I remember...supposed to just "forget" such things.

We used to have this utopian idea that convention was the safest place in the world for children but you're correct - until the professing community is educated around the dangers and looking out for the protection of children there is a need for pretty close supervision.

Good, bad, or indifferent, it's all in the rear view mirror now, except for the clean up. Visiting workers have departed for their next venue, most likely Freedom or Quakertown, I guess. Any news from attendees at the convention? Previews of what we can expect from the visitors on concert tour?

A little boy was being bullied at Shoals convention about 6 or 7 years ago and he called the police. It caused quite a stir for police to visit the grounds.
