Hi Maryhig. We were teen aged kids. Complain about a member of a 2x2 royal family? Not a hope,his dad,2x sisters and one brother were and still are "OBESE", grew up with gtuttony.

Ah, maybe it's the way you capitalise the thing that you find offensive, it looks a bit hard. But anyway, we all have faults, don't we? None of us are perfect, don't we all do something wrong? Sometimes I wonder how God puts up with me, I'm forever saying sorry about something I've done!

Let's look at the "no taking part" threat. Does the smoker stop his or her habit simply because they can't speak, pray or partake of the emblems in meeting?

Hiding a habit from others makes it harder to quit the habit IMHO. But some want the image of perfection and chose to shoot the wounded, so to speak.
