You wrote "no". Does that mean you do not mean the title/subject of this thread? no this thread was by dennis, i'm looking for the one allegedly started by jesse So, when you posted "making a thread about another user here is in poor taste and should be handled by admin/mods or done by PM..." you did not have any post or poster in mind. Just making a general statement?

Dennis - don't let Review005 shut you down... Going by what is written, I think there is implication that review005 has the ability to shut down Dennis. This can be taken a couple ways, but by what is written, there is implication that review005 can and wants to shut Dennis down . . . which I take to be to get him (Dennis) to stop posting. By what is written. Not inferring what might or might not be implied. Not reading as if the reader wrote or as if there is a certain tone or emotion that is not directly indicated, but is assumed. I think we need to read with as an objective mind as possible. Some people are able to write in such a way as what they write could be taken two ways. This could be practiced deniability or simply being unclear in writing or different readers interpreting differently. "What do you mean by ______________________ ?" might be helpful in getting understanding. Might. Then again, by asking such, one might be trying to avoid what is written with hopes that a further response might be more usable for the reader/replier to go around what was originally written. Masterfully explained. And he's a classically trained practitioner of the skill.

I suggest you respond the questions directly and factually rather than swerving off into unpleasant personal attacks that have been your trademark over the last week and way back beyond that whenever you are questioned, asked to substantiate something. I ignore it, so hardly are an effective way of answering me. Review005, it was obvious that on the thread called "Strong" you begin goading Dennis after his first non-controversial post: Post by Dennis Jacobsen on 27 Jun 2015 at 16:38 " One reason Strong's (originally published 1890) is not considered totally reliable is that (although for me it is a wonderful work) it was compiled just before the discovery in Egypt of Greek papyri on the late 1800's and early 1900's that have so helped in translation of old Greek documents since then." Post by review00528 Jun 2015 at 09:29 "and ?"I am sure that you will deny this because it just says "and?"
However, it's abruptness coupled with all of your other sharp and belittling posts, -it is obvious that your posts are designed to cut people down instead of showing any light on the subject being discussed.

How 'strange' (wink wink nod nod), how amazing, that the posters on this thread are Dennis, Mary, Bob and dmg. I could post pages of unpleasant personal attack from this tmb quartet. Dennis your brethren they don't want you to ride off into the sunset! Keep your posts coming! You are needed here! But make sure they stand up to questioning!..... Cuz questionable posts will continued to be questioned. I suggest you respond the questions directly and factually rather than swerving off into unpleasant personal attacks that have been your trademark over the last week and way back beyond that whenever you are questioned, asked to substantiate something. Your abuse is water off a duck's back. I ignore it, so hardly are an effective way of answering me. I just come back and question a questionable statement again and will continue to do so! Now let us all pray. who do you pray to?

ReviewOO5 does not want to shut anyone down... He just want to ask questions, and what do you mean by your posts? What is the purpose of your post? What is your point? Can you clarify it. People feel they are threaten, when other question their posts. Solution! Don't get upset, just try to answer the questions in a nice manner so people can understand where you're coming from. The readers enjoy reading the questions and the answers. Baloney, Nathan! "answer the questions in a nice manner?"
That is NOT the way that Review answers other people.
Review is the worker and I thought he is suppose to be giving people the pattern of how Jesus would answer.

Yep, that is what some of us try to encourage reviewoo5 to follow Jesus pattern of how Jesus would treat and answer to people on here..... That is to go the second mile, and to turn the other cheek. It's not working.

I don't see anger in Review's posts. Anger shows in Review's posts in his sarcasm
When one experiences passive anger, their emotions may be displayed as sarcasm, Psychology Today.
Think Sarcasm is Funny? Think Again Sarcasm is really just hostility disguised as humor
Post published by Clifford N Lazarus Ph.D. on Jun 26, 2012 in Think Well
"If you want to be happier and improve your relationships, cut out sarcasm since sarcasm is actually hostility disguised as humor. Despite smiling outwardly, most people who receive sarcastic comments feel put down and usually think the sarcastic person is a jerk.
Indeed, it’s not surprising that the origin of the word sarcasm derives from the Greek word “sarkazein” which literally means “to tear or strip the flesh off.” Hence, it’s no wonder that sarcasm is often preceded by the word “cutting” and that it hurts.
"What’s more, since actions strongly determine thoughts and feelings, when a person consistently acts sarcastically it usually only heightens his or her underlying hostility and insecurity.
"After all, when you come right down to it, sarcasm is a subtle form of bullying and most bullies are angry, insecure, cowards. (cont.) www.psychologytoday.com/blog/think-well/201206/think-sarcasm-is-funny-think-again

a) go and stand in front of a mirror.
b)read your own words written of another
"-it is obvious that your posts are designed to cut people down instead of showing any light on the subject being discussed."
Look back at your last 25 or 50 posts directed and me and try to figure how you had the audacity to post as you have about another.
Heck, -what am I supposed to do?
You are the worker & you are the one that has set the pattern of a cutting people down all the time!

Nate - go for it. I won't be part of the cheerleader squad How will you know who he is at Boring? Will he have a name-tag with "Review005" on it? I have connection in high places... I have seen his pictures at different conventions he has attended in USA. I know where he goes, what time he speaks at each convention. I know what he looks like. I know his real name. We sent PM with each other for a long time on TMB. Don't brag, Nathan.
Do you know the meaning of "toadying up" to someone?
"a person who praises and helps powerful people in order to get their approval"
TOADY: "one who flatters in the hope of gaining favors : sycophant "
Of course there are less nice words to describe it but I AM a NICE LADY so I won't use those!

.....and he sat in my lounge a number of years back too. I think I might have even offered him coffee and biscuits and he accepted. I am looking forward to meet review005 in person and spent sometime with him at Boring convention. Nathan, -don't forget to tell him all about Val Thor!
Will you report back to us any comments that he might have about Val Thor?

RossYou have made a questionable statement 'Dennis - don't let Review005 shut you down'On what basis are you making the statement that I am shutting Dennis down? Are you able to substantiate this statement with fact and posts proving the veracity of your allegation? I know it is 'ross' hype and baseless slander. You are challenged to: a)prove me incorrect with facts and posts I have made or b)retract the false statement you have made. Sadly I doubt you are capable of either. Aaahahahahaha. Hehe. Um, Did you read again what Ross said? Or what Dennis said? Do you even know what slander is? Don't let your feelings for Ross get in the way of your potential to make sensible posts Review.

I haven't seen Scott on here lately. He was planning on meeting Review at convention. Hope he has not left us since being at convention. Hope he is ok.
Thank you for the nice wink, Nathan, my heart is pounding already. I will get a ride on a space ship to visit you next time one comes to earth.

Nathan, -don't forget to tell him all about Val Thor! Will you report back to us any comments that he might have about Val Thor? hahaha.... I know Review005 has read many of my posts on TMB about Valiant and Donn Thor, angels of God sent by Jesus Christ to help and warn humanity the danger of Nuclear Bombs testing on the Atoll islands, in Nevada desert, in the atmosphere, and undergrounds around the world, which cause radiation to rise, pollution of our planet, and wars with the fallen angels here on earth since 1930s.The movie the Day that the earth stood still in 1951 based on Valiant Thor true story.www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmFYAmp9yiA You mean that science fiction movie?
"The Day the Earth Stood Still (aka Farewell to the Master and Journey to the World) is a 1951 American black-and-white science fiction film from 20th Century Fox, produced by Julian Blaustein, directed by Robert Wise, and starring Michael Rennie, Patricia Neal, Hugh Marlowe and Sam Jaffe. "
"The Day the Earth Stood Still was written by Edmund H. North, based on the 1940 science fiction short story "Farewell to the Master" by Harry Bates.[3] from wiki
Does Review005 think that it is right for someone that professing to watch movies like that?

I think he needs a girlfriend. It could calm him down considerably. You are probably right.
However, no doubt she probably would have shown him the door long ago.
Ha ha I had a wee chuckle over this and review probably did too, but if it had been written about Dennis all his guns would be blazing. I'm just wondering why you are so 'precious' Dennis. You recently devoted another complete thread to yourself and something that had offended you. Honestly, you say things about 'the church and those in it that are far more cutting than any review says, your words are just wrapped up in a bit more padding, ( actually quite enjoy your post when I get to the nitty gritty) You are not going to get nicey nicey on this forum because we are discussing issues very close to people's hearts and they are going to be defensive and challenge what you say.Thats how it is. I would say to anyone- if you dont like what's on here you dont have to stay. I didnt see anything particually offensive in Reviews "and' - in fact I read your post and wanted to know more too.So dont be offended, sit back relax and enjoy the ride

making a thread about another user here is in poor taste and should be handled by admin/mods or done by PM... You get used to it after a while. It is often the ultimate personal attack on a message board when you have no valid arguments.

Yip, some people's messages are blunt, to the point and maybe just a tad sarcastic, some peoples all flowery and wafflee, some people's are just too darn long and others messages just plain sad and bitter... but... that is what makes this place interesting!

I am looking forward to meet review005 in person and spent sometime with him at Boring convention. Nathan, -don't forget to tell him all about Val Thor!
Will you report back to us any comments that he might have about Val Thor? NathanB, There is no need. I have communicated at great length with @review005 and discussed the error of some of NathanB's beliefs. We have agreed to work together to attempt to get NathanB a little bit more grounded in reality. By the way folks, I have 5 fingers, a normal sized heart, two lungs, and red blood, just like the rest of you. I am still puzzled why someone would make up those untruths. Sincerely, Commander Valiant Thor

OK it's fair that Cmdr Val Thor has the last word on this thread. He has beamed us a message to stop all further communication on this topic, with the warning that no one individual is blameless here and sometimes we get in return what we dish out (wise counsel from the Oracle). He also hinted at a desire to bang some heads together, but didn't say who exactly.
He seems so wise, we are considering making him part of the Admin team. Only problem is his cell phone seems to operate on some strange wavelength, maybe NathanB can help with establishing better communication channels?
