Just found out that Mark Thomas passed away on June 18 at the age of 27. His parents have meetings near Washington DC and his grandparents own Vanderbilt, MI convention. Most recently, Mark was living in Orange County CA.

Obituary:
Mark was a dear son, loving older brother, and a true friend to many. He will be sorely missed.
Born in 1988, Mark spent his first five years in Moscow, Russia, until he was adopted by his parents in 1993. As Mark often noted, "For me, life began when I got a family," - something most of us take for granted. He was a loving, loyal son and a caring brother to his younger siblings: Laura, Jenny, and Jonathan. He lived with his family in Grand Rapids, MI, until moving with them to VA in 2000, where he remained until he relocated to CA in September 2014. During his early 20s, Mark intermittently lived and worked in NJ with his uncle.
Mark will be remembered for his big smile, kind heart, unconditional love, deep faith, and a sharp sense of humor. Although he never became a pilot, he loved the world of aviation from his youth. The closest he ever came to realizing that dream was his employment as a customer service agent for Northwest Airlines prior to his attending George Mason University. Mark's love of travel took him all over the world, where he made lasting friends in each location. His selflessness and generosity touched so many lives.
Mark is survived by his loving parents, Gordon and Julie Thomas of Oak Hill, VA; siblings, Laura Thomas and her son Landon Dodge of Manassas, VA, Jenny Thomas and Jonathan Thomas of Oak Hill, VA; grandparents Dale and Suzanne Hannan of Vanderbilt, MI, Elizabeth Thomas of Lafayette, NJ and Wayne and Linda Thomas of Bloomfield, NJ. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Ralph and Jeanette McCleery, Cynthia Thomas, Glenn Thomas and Jane Scarlett; and by his cousins Carson and Jen McCleery, Ken and Cinandra McCleery and Sarah and Stephen Scarlett.
