I'm impressed! The reference was pretty obscure! In school, we referred to it as "The Bible". I can't tell you how many times I ended up in meeting trying to develop something to speak about while looking at 5-place log tables! I usually had to fall back to Section 13 and Nomenclature for Organic Polymers. A rich and fertile ground for obscure analogies! Would that have been before or during the era of leisure suits and ugly wide ties? There was also the book of Ester. A stretch, perhaps.

A baby blue leisure suit with orange stitching - fortunately my family was not well off and we could not afford to buy one. By the time I had saved up the money the fad was over! Close call.
