While there are a lot of good advice and words of wisdom on the blog, there is the occasional "don't question the authority of the ministry and keep in your place" undertones that ruins the convention experience for some people. Seems like there is a need to get up and wing it, so to speak, without any notes or slides. Thus the need for some time fillers...poems, experiences and repeating old cliches.

Deeds speak louder than words, no? All the wonderful thoughts in the world are silenced by unjust leaders and their excommunications in support of false accusations. Yes, that is very easy for some to ignore and be impressed by "grand" ideology expressed by "gems."
There are indeed some very good thoughts expressed in those "gems" which to me reflect more the mindset of the recorder of them than of any speaker of those recorded thoughts/words.
Surely actions speak louder than words, to me, anyway.
At the time of my false accusation, I expressed I would go to my grave asserting absolute innocence of them. Recognizing I am very close to the end of my life, I repeat that claim now. Good bye family of friends who have been so totally deceived over many decades. This could well be my last post, here or anywhere. Eagerly anticipating moving on to any next awareness. Likely, quite soon I will depart this one.

'A couple had a baby that died. The doctor said they could hold it as long as they wanted. After a while they gave it back, for it was of no use to them dead. If there is no spiritual life in us we are not useful to God. He will let us go.'
i didn't make this up! It's a 'KnoxGem' from 2009. No doubt terribly comforting for anyone who's ever lost a baby!!! I'm sure this person, whoever it was, could've found a more appropriate analogy!
Disturbing.....

But that's the kind of stuff that gets said when people don't have experience with appropriate social skills.

Some of the group "practice" bothered me a whole lot than the "preaching". Especially the issue of spiritual bullying.
