Nathan, what science did you do at school? Scientists can't explain how Jesus walked on water because they don't believe he walked on water. (Not that there's a field of science dedicated to Water Walking.) ps you can have a hollow asteroid or comet (now there's something for you to Youtube, ESA's Rosetta Comet Mission - neat...) but as a planetary body gets to a certain size it collapses to a solid ball due to increased gravity. I don't know how you could keep open spaces viable deep underground due to the crushing effect of the rock above you. And as with our Venusian guy, evolution of anyone in these underground caverns would be vastly different to anything above ground - for one there's no sunlight so our Underground Guy wouldn't have eyes. Think about it. There are thousands, millions of caves are connected under the earth, BERT. The US gov't have been building tunnels, military bases undergrounds for the last 60 yrs around the world. Phil S. was one of the men helped to build these tunnels underground around the world.www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHesmfi56R4hundreds and thousands pictures of Tunnels are connected undergroundswww.bing.com/images/search?q=tunnels+and+caves+connected+underground&qpvt=Tunnels+and+caves+connected+underground&FORM=IGREYes there are lots of caves and caverns. This is not evidence of a hollow earth. Your hollow earth that you post about is a lot deeper than these caves and caverns As Bert pointed out, hollow planets just wouldn't be possible and still exist.

Nathan! Nice and cool? Did you read the Wikipedia link I gave you? If so, can you tell me HOW FAR DOWN IS THIS "HOLLOW EARTH" so I can do the math. Thanks.
ps, remember, at 50 miles down the rocks melt.

Really, whether Jesus was married or not would not impact the gospel. A married god might change a church as might a married example Lord and Master.

At 8,000 miles I would say the temperature of the Earth would be about 14,000 degrees. I don't have the time to go looking for this stuff but I would say the pressure at that extraordinary depth is about a million or two atmospheres. Enough to melt and crush iron into liquid.
We had a pretty good idea of what is inside the earth by using various techniques such as seismology and gravity studies. The diagram of a hollow earth with a tiny sun in the center is beyond fanciful, and quotes scientists from previous centuries when people didn't know much about anything.
Incidentally, quoting authorities from previous centuries is a technique used by Creationists too.

Virgo, I think you should read this again then ? quote author="@virgo" source="/post/616164/thread" timestamp="1416801679"] Virgo, Paul was a chosen Apostle of Jesus he was not a worker in the sense of workers that belong to the "Fellowship" ! Are you really saying that you believe workers are modern day apostles ? Who else preform miracles other than Jesus & his Apostles ? there were others beside apostles who performed miracles even just plain workers and i ask you how would you know that he was not a worker in the sense of workers that belong to the "Fellowship"? one does not have to do miracles to be an apostle [/quote]

Quote - "Bert, did you read Wally's article? Some People have known it for hundreds of years." You mean, known about Tarzan? "Tarzan is a fictional character, an archetypal feral child raised in the African jungles by the Mangani great apes; he later experiences civilization only to largely reject it and return to the wild as a heroic adventurer." Wiki. Apparently Tarzan was only known for 102 years, before then I suppose he was hushed up - like the hollow Earth is today. Nathan sorry but I don't read these bulk copy and paste assertions. NO SCIENTIST TODAY BELIEVES THAT THE EARTH, MOON OR MARS IS HOLLOW. I have already stated the opposite - that round planets have solid cores. On big planets these cores are so dense that even hydrogen gas is crushed to a metallic state.
Why do you hate education? What has it ever done to you?

That's ok Virgo, I understand now that you state things that you believe are facts but when you are asked what you mean you use ignorance as you have above ! You stated something then when asked what you meant you cannot answer. I wonder how many other 2x2's believe there are "plain workers & apostles ? Also I wonder how they decide who is what .....

You know, an interesting thing with some Creationists, back-to-nature, vegans and Luddites is that term, "We have known for a long time." That's CODE for "that's what people believed before we found out the truth." We have always known that Venus is lush, cloud covered and with dense tropical forests. Until we found it wasn't, by way of example.
And we have always known that Tarzan lives in or has visited this "hollow Earth." A question, seeing how you didn't answer my earlier questions - does Tarzan live in Africa or has he moved to the Hollow Earth?ps I just read this and it reminded me of you www.newscientist.com/article/dn26625-lucky-strike-in-search-for-earths-most-common-mineral.html#.VHkjO8nhAVA

Nag seems to be your favourite word Virgo ! If you can't back up a statement don't make it, its that easy ! Maybe I need to start a new thread about plain workers & see if someone can explain exactly what they are

I have to support Nathan's belief in a hollow earth. Years ago I read a book by the noble Jules Verne called "Journey to the Centre of the Earth," which made it very clear the Earth was hollow in many way and there were many passages and tunnels, etc. It's all there!

Well there's a way to find out. I will start a new thread as we are choking my Dawkins thread.

Should some of these posts be on another board . . . perhaps with the title "And ANOTHER Legend..."? Though Thor and Hollow Earth hardly seem worthy of "legend" status.

Well there's a way to find out. I will start a new thread as we are choking my Dawkins thread. What is there to find out? You either believe the earth is Solid or Hollow. Which one do you believe, Solid earth or Hollow earth?and that explains a lot about what you post. You don't waste any time trying to find out the truth. You just believe based on erroneous information and you then decide to believe it even when truth is presented to you. No planet is hollow Nathan. A Planet could not exist if it was hollow. It would collapse in on itself. The people who are writing these things you are believing don't have a clue. Like Bert suggests, study some science and you would understand just how impossible all this that you post really is.

Nathan, we need a Wacko Board for this stuff. But until then please use the Myths and Legends thread. You are cluttering up this Gospel thread with Tarzan, the lost tribes of Israel and Valiant Thor (the guy with 6 fingers and 6 toes.)

this thread is way to deep for me I agree Virgs. It reminds me of another of Bert's sayings: "Doth not the condor soar the highest of all the birds? Doth not its waste plummet the furthest?"So true. So true, true, true!

From the beginning of this thread it seemed to be about the "discovery" by some blunderbusts that Jesus had been married and had children. Well, IF that is so, that is going to mess up his reign on earth, won't it? I mean wouldn't after his death , his children would have stepped into their rightful place to be King of Kings and Lords of Lords, etc? As well as being the "last" and "forever" king of the Judah tribe, filling the throne for King David's sake? Having children would have said that Jesus had moved on and wouldn't need his kingship, his millennial reign on earth, eh?
So it is surely negative talk that Jesus was married, for the bible speaks about Jesus' bride being the "church" and also about his millennial reign on earth as King of kings, etc.....so somebody is reading something somewhere and getting ideas outside the scriptures in the bible.
