Do you know of anyone close to you who had a dead bed conversion or confession ? A lady who lived in my town reportedly professed a week before she died of cancer. I never met her, but my cousin married her niece.

I don't know of any death bed conversion in the F&W fellowship, but I do know of one in the seventh Day Adventists church. The chap went to school with me and we were in the same classes as we were of the same age group. As adults, I had many conversations with him about spiritual matters but he was not a believer in God so he would always brush them aside by changing the subject. Later in life he was married into a family of seventh day Adventists., but he was not a member. Early in the year 2010 he fell ill and was diagnosed with asbestosis and was hospitalized from April to October when he passed away; at his funeral the pastor said that a week before he died he had requested a visit from him and on his death bed he accepted Christ as his Saviour.

Do you know of anyone close to you who had a dead bed conversion or confession ? That would be hypocritical. I could never do that even if I wanted to. Which I don't. But that's how I see it. Think it's sad people have so many doubts. Live what you believe and leave it at that.

Or swiftly change course to avoid disaster? Of a certainty these things truly sharpen the mind and cleanse the heart in an instant!"Bert.

I would think for those who die in pain, most go out cursing God vs crying out for salvation. I'm considering the common reaction of most to sudden pain; hitting your thumb or stubbing your toe.
