The last two times we had invited people to the gospel meetings, they never came back after the first visits. When we'd ask why, they both said there was not enough scripture, it was all "personal experience" stories being relayed.

I have invited people to gospel meetings in the past , and when I asked afterwards what they thought, some were quite blunt and would say it is not for them, not their "cup of tea" so to speak. They were used to lively revival meetings, with lively singing and fiery preachers and the musical accompaniments, even the clapping of hands or the beating of tambourines. That was before the keyboards were introduced at gospel meetings. But a fairly general comment was it is too quiet and I suppose not inviting/entertaining.

I suspect the workers too live with as much or more fear. Perhaps some ex-worker may even fear punishment in any afterlife for poisoning the well. Most are just sincerely doing what they believe and continuing the cycle to the next generation. Lucky for us we live post the enlightenment. Here is the cliff notes version of how our world has changed due to the enlightenment. www.stuffyoushouldknow.com/podcasts/how-the-enlightenment-works/PS: The world today. I need to keep up with the times too as I didn't know "god kpop"
