NOT true, Ken. "Being a Christian is being in a minority" is not a true.
I'm not sure why Christians want to claim such a situation.
I wonder if they are hungering of martyrdom.
DMG Perhaps because its true? ken Which is true, that Christians are a minority? Or That Christians are hungering for martyrdom?

Ken, Nah, it didn't take more than a few minutes to find the name Coolidge on google! Isn't the internet Great!
Just doing my job, Ken!
Who, if not someone as old as me, who has lived long & therefore has the expertize to correct you young people's faulty reasoning? Someone has to teach you all some critical thinking.
Although, I admit that one doesn't have to be older. Bob, Rational, Matisse, Snow, Matt and many others do a really good job as well.
DMG I believe that your thought process places a great confidence in the wisdom of man. There are many today who make a mockery of those who have a confidence in God. It must be nice to sit in a high and lofty place with great respect for your thoughts. Hope you have captured your message in the books you have written. Perhaps you would share the titles and we all could read them. I promise not to google your name. ken My thought process has evolved through the years and I no longer put any confidence in a a god of whom there isn't evidence of existing. A god who was cruel, a god that would place bets with a evil person, Satan to test poor Job by causing his children to die! I certainly want no truck with a god like that!
The fact that there isn't evidence such a god ever existed, but rather was created by MAN and THOSE men certainly weren't very wise!

I lived in the NZ. The first murder in many yrs was The Arthur Allen Thomas case in 1970. It occured on our honeymoon. Rape would have happened but was kept quiet for the most part. No lynching of blacks there. NZ was not a racist I country There were a few gangs. Generally Nz was a safe country. You could walk the streets at night. leave the doors unlocked, windows open and go on holiday I live in central US
I can walk the streets at night, even 1 0r 2'oclock in the morning. I never locked my doors when the children were growing up so that could come in at any time.
I only lock the front door at nite now more as habit but not the back door.

DMGI percieve that at the end of life you are fighting for recognition and praise that you never recieved elsewhere perhaps even true for some of the others you mention . I feel and I maybe wrong that youve placed Snow on the wrong list. In any case seems you want to kick sand and ridicule those of use who are in love with Jesus. Its your choice. I am praying for the eyes of you understanding might be openedken
Well now that is interesting!
I was only trying to interpret your genealogical, physical characteristics which wasn't ridiculing you in any way.
Now, You want define my psychological characteristics in quite a nasty way!
I've never been concerned about recognition and praise.
However, I was valedictorian of my class.
I have received severval awards in a human & civil rights in my lifetime. But many others had worked along with me. I couldn't have done it alone.
It certainly wasn't for the awards that I worked towards but the advancement in civil & human rights. Just the fact that those issues were advanced was reward enough for me & I can honestly say I didn't care who got the awards.
What I am wondering is if you feel you have the advantage over me why are you so disturbed by what I say?

DMG ~ Did you forget about Cain murdering his brother, Abel ~ the first murder on record after Adam and Eve were displaced from the Garden of Eden and began having children? It brings to mind that old saying below:
faune! Why do you think that I forget about Cain murdering his brother, Abel ?
Adam and Eve were no longer in the the Garden of Eden when they even conceived Cain & Abel! Give me some credit for knowing at least a little something about the bible!

That is only your perception. The reason you want to believe that about me is that you are angry . Why are you so angry?
Just because I see no evidence for any god, yours or thousand of other gods, you are angry with me. You think ill of me because you can't make me believe what you believe.
All those things that you attribute to me, are only because I can't, don't, and won't, agree with you.

I apologize for not checking statistics for the number of murders in NZ. My family had left UK while I was young. I remember aged 5yrs a woman being murdered down a back alley her screams I can never forget. I lived a very sheltered life in NZ. The case I mentioned is the first I recall anyone discussing.

How & When did Adams first wife Lilith die? Since death didn't come into the world until after Adam and Eve were naughty, it is logical to assume that Lilith (goodness knows where this idea came from?) was a subsequent wife.

How & When did Adams first wife Lilith die? Last I heard after she still had recurring roles on various TV shows and has acted various roles in Chicago for about 2 decades. Can't see why Adam dumped her!

That is a fantasy held by some of the Christians that make up 78 % of the U.S. population. The belief that Christians are routinely persecuted in the U.S. is another fantasy. matisse Going to church and saying you are a Christian hardly makes you one. Many like to claim they are Christian but few act accordingly. By their fruit you will know them. ken Sounds like an example of the No True Scotsman informal logical fallacy.

How & When did Adams first wife Lilith die? It's not in the Bible, so it's not true. She's hiding somewhere in the bushes. But it would be a good research topic, wouldn't it? I suppose it might be that Lilith and Eve were the "first" multi-wife.....examples? OR perhaps there were other wives unknown and perhaps a concubine or harem! I've always wondered why God allowed man to have more then one wife and a concubine as well! For it says that man was to leave his parents and cleave unto his wife...this being in the singular and they become "one flesh"...wouldn't it be hard for multi-wives to become "one flesh" with one man?

Bob ~ According to Wiki, Lilith was part of the Sumerian legend relating to Adam's first wife, to make up for the discrepancy found between Genesis 1 and 2, in relation to Eve later coming from his rib cage and not the same earth as Adam.

Consider 'one flesh' to be a euphemism and you will see the possibilities for any individual to become 'one flesh' with any number of willing individuals! It happens all the time. In fact, it is happening right now!

DMG ~ I believe I said the same thing in my post and added that after they were displaced from the Garden of Eden, they began to have children. So, what's the point here? Ironically, the firstborn turned out to be a murderer and brought death to his younger brother over jealousy of his offering being more favored by God.

A lot of things to speculate about, and some of which the lore has preserved to become scripture. Much of it built on the belief that Adam was a real man and Eve a real woman, and the philosophy that copulating humans become one flesh. The need to know the rest of the story for purposes of completeness of scripture is the greatest problem, I believe.
