Regarding Findochty convention, I am told that a local shop used to sell postcards which depicted a view of the Convention Meal Tent and I believe the Town Hall at the top of the hill. They were very popular with the Friends for sending or as souvenirs.
Unfortunately I don't have one.
Have any of you seen this postcard? Anyone know how I could obtain a copy of it?
Suggestions will be much appreciated.

I have a photograph taken in 1921 of a large group that looks very like workers. Where it was taken I cannot tell but it was more than likely in the United Kingdom or Ireland.

That is it from Stafford. I have a photograph also taken at Stafford in 1996. Interestingly the 1921 line up has Wilson Reid but Edward Cooney is absent. Tom Betty and his wife are there who where champions of Eddie's views. Mrs Betty was a former faith Mission pilgrim.

Cherie Findochty, Scotland Convention. There was an old black and white postcard sold at a General Merchants shop at 21 New Street, Findochty, probably in the 1960s, showing the Convention Dining Tent which was erected on a large piece of ground at the rear of the house at 17 New Street. The meetings were held in the Townhall on Seaview Road which was only a short walk up the hill from the tent. In the earlier years there were two large dining tents side by side on the site but latterly before the Findochty convention stopped there was only the one. The house at 17 New Street is still occupied and I understand there is a Wednesday night fellowship held there. The non-local convention attendees stayed in the homes of the friends in the area and the local Scout Hall was used as sleeping quarters sometimes. I'm not sure of numbers but I guess there could've been 200/250 attendees at the May convention . The baptisms took place in the sea(Moray Firth)just yards from the tent which overlooked the beach Although not a member of this group some of my relatives are. Three Findochty ladies (all in their seventies now)are workers, Mary Phimister(UK) Helen Phimister (UK) and Rosalind Flett (Brazil). It is interesting to read of the meetings history. The Findochty meeting folks I always found to be warm, friendly and hospitable and I have absolutely no criticism of them.
