In the hospital tonight. Wired up to monitors kinda like a moonshot before launch! Just more stress than this old body can cope with at present. Katie just left for home a few minutes ago. Life, and everyone has to endure it at times.

Dennis ~ I'm so sorry to hear of your health set-back so soon after arriving back in your home in Washington. I will keep you in my prayers, as I know you've been though a lot in the past weeks and probably could use some uplift from the prayers of friends who also care about you. Take care and I pray everything will come out OK for you and Katie and you will find the silver lining behind all that has happened in recent weeks. Take care and may God bless you and Katie!

Finally got home after dark last night, have lost over 19 pounds of retained fluid over the past 56 hours, with still more to lose. Enjoying pacific northwest air conditioning.

Hooray! Still looks like it has been through a war, however old electric Merits wheel chair on its way to restoration! Looks like it might just still work after hours of labor and repair! Just got It's 24 volt charger horridly damaged appearance, but repaired, time to give up for today! Thankfully, I've years of past experience fixing things, one leftover benefit from having once been a homeless guy, repairing anything I could get my hands on! Lots and lots of stuff to go. Cordless electric lawn mower beyond repair, sigh! As is my EZGO Marathon 2 seater road worthy electric golf cart, and it's brand new and carefully built carry trailer. Sigh!
A local friend and minister came to us just a couple of days before leaving begging us not to tow the Jetta TDI nor ride in the cab. We changed plans and likely saved ourselves and the car serious damage/injury. Nuff for progress report, tonight. Will be placing two chandeliers next, ASAP but kinda hard for a old cripple like me to do alone. No funds to pay for help. Que sera, sera!

Thank you for the encouragement, PNG!
Sang with the choir this A.M. We needed a break today so went to Astoria, got a fresh salmon right off the boat! And some fresh oysters for stew tonight, we both like oysters. 80 degrees today and beautiful weather promised for the whole week, cooling already tonight.
Yes, lots to be thankful for in life, and everyone has their tests and trials! Still... As one goes through salvage, Destroyed pictures, shattered antiques carefully collected over a lifetime there are moments of tears...poor Katie... Wanting to keep her cheered up as best I can. Hence the day trip today. She is such a trooper! Good night, now.

Katie has just left for corporate worship. I have had to give up the choir, too many handicaps. Hardly even able to make it to the bathroom today, eager for the steroid shot into my hip. This aging process is ahead of everyone, unless we get to escape easily like Ylva did. Call this A.M. From Katie's best friend in Houston. Their son with severe mental illness (depression) refusing medication just took his own life. They too need help with his final expenses. If life is going grand for others just now, that is wonderful, yet good to remember it is not always so for everyone else, and may not always continue so.

So sorry about Katie's friend's son. And the continued struggles you and Katie have. It's wonderful you have little bright spots to uplift you. And that you have the awesome skill of repairing things! What happened to all the things...was there a storm?

Thank you, PNG.
Wishing to just share some of our progress on The Sequioa Farm, the name we have chosen for our little part of this world.
First, we now have a number of new trees growing on it, 20 Giant Sequoia, 10 Douglas Fir, 10 Noble, and 10 Blue Spruce.
The goats are doing well, old decrepit fenced pastures being replaced, new goat pastures repaired, and home yard fencing being restored.
The house rewiring is soon finished, walls downstairs rebuilt and the house enclosed. Soon the bathroom, kitchen, and our sleeping suite will be done, as well as guest rooms finished. So much work to be done before i check out permanently, so handicapped by medical conditions. Keeps one very humble and needy also. Thursday they will be doing an MRI at the Portland VA to determine how much damage recent strokes have caused.
A new roof and siding is needed on this 60 plus year old house, so that too is in the God willing, devil don't interfere category, smile, dark green metal roof, log cabin siding, stone facing on basement and footing walls.
On the business front, Katie will be applying this next month for a grant to proceed with her as National Commodore, myself as XO, in launching our United Seahorse Services of America idea of full body burial at sea by our new National Non-profit Corporation, and we anticipate our first burial at sea in only a matter of months, as the idea is being well received by governmental agencies and the public alike. Smile, now if I can only live to see it come to fruition! Interest showing well in Alaska, Washington, Oregon and Texas even before we open the business.
Well, so much for what is going on at 804 Si Town Road in Cowlitz County, at Washington 98611 USA.
(Oh, a little aside here, some have wondered about our address name. The county roadway 600' east of our home, was once old homesteader Silas Town's airport runway, hence the name of the road, and we live on the old "Town" homestead site, even enjoying water from a centuries old aqua fir that envious neighbors all around seek to find and penetrate for their use, so far without any success!)
Looking forward to when we can invite y'all to come visit, maybe for a large getogether next summer, anyone interested? We will have plenty of room for campers/tents of all sorts! Even side trips to Pacific Ocean beaches, Scenic Mountain trips to nearby volcano peaks, maybe even arrange for a charter helo trip to Saint Helen's right from our property if Y'all can help with financing your individual trips, else we could escort you to a location only about 20 miles away where they have such excursions all summer long.
What say Y'all?

Well, many views with none to show any interest in a gathering at this place, so I guess it was a dumb idea that went nowhere. 'S okay, means less work and expense for us, anyway.

I live a little bit far away. America is also a big country with people scattered around the country. Guess life gets busy but then an offer of a get together is always good.

Some of you might recall my telling a number of years ago of that giant apparition that appeared before me in the Red Lion Hotel room the night Ylva died when my cousin Brian made certain I was not staying alone in the bedroom where Ylva died. While Brian did not see what I saw, he heard my end of the conversation AND witnessed my response to what I saw as it was happening. Anyway, item after item I saw in that horn-a-plenty has come to be, unbelievably specific items which I could never have foreseen.
Smile, one of those visionary items was green metal sheets, which I did not even recognize until today in ordering the green metal roofing to reroof this house! Then I recalled it from that "vision!" Amazing. Earlier I have related in this forum of a specific document seen at that time which actually came to happen and I held in my own hands! Like stated in another thread, I sure want to experience more of such hallucinations of that which is to come!
Simply amazing, and if I had not experienced it, likely would be as others, unbelieving it could happen. However it did, has and continues with some of you even unknowingly contributing to my receiving things that were in that horn-a-plenty for my future needs. So, yes I am very thankfull.

You have strongly held beliefs about the experience you have had. I cannot imagine that anyone would argue otherwise.
