Doubt it. Many of the friends in Ireland have trouble enough getting out to week-night meetings without going to masonic meetings! Often missions are held in Orange Halls which sometimes doubles as a Masonic Lodge - maybe this is where the confusion has arisen?

I am not sure that you are correct in stating that Orange and Masonic halls sometimes share a common meeting place. They are quite different. I am not in favour of either organisation.

I remember years ago being at a mission in the North and asking what the symbols were on the wall of an Orange Hall. I was told they were Masonic symbols (square and compass) so I assume there was some come along between the two organisations. I couldn't tell you where it was though as it was a long time ago. Maybe Armagh/Tyrone.
