Would be interested to know if someone in England can tell me when Mrs. Hope Middleton, who used to live in Wallington, Surrey, passed away. Her house was called "The Haven" and the address was 31 Blenheim Gardens, Wallington, Surrey. She knew (and kept in touch with) Workers and Friends in many parts of the world and many visitors to the South London area never failed to call at her place. The Sunday morning Fellowship meetings were also held at her home. I knew her quite well in the 1970s and early 1980s when my family lived not far from her. Her only daughter (Auriel?) was in the Fellowship but neither of her two sons were. Would be glad to have any information. A lady from New Zealand, Estelle Thompson, who was a Friend shared the house with her, I think.

My mother Hope Middleton passed away peacefully at home on 26th May 1996. Estelle Thompson was a long time family friend and cared for our mother during the last few few years of her life right up to the end. Estelle purchased my mothers house and continued the meetings at The Haven. Sadly Estelle passed away in March 2003 after suffering from cancer. Estelle is buried with my mother at Bandon Hill Cemetery, Wallington. Anyone that knew my mother or Estelle or me, they are welcome to get in touch. Kind regards. Stephen

Hello Stephen, thanks for responding to my post and for your message. I have emailed you at the address you gave. I want to say a big "thank you" to the kind person (or persons) who told you about my post on the TMB and made it possible for me to get in touch. Thanks!
