There were more than ONE Faith Mission Pilgrim/preacher left to join with William Irvine, I believe it was 4 Faith Mission preachers. Dora Holland, was one of Faith Mission converts of William Irvine in 1896 and she became a 2x2 preacher in 1902.
William Irvine Knew exactly what he was doing! It was no great experiment... William Irvine was doing the same thing as he was a Faith Mission preacher, very little had changed... Sunday morning meetings were added and baptizing their converts, and NOT sending their converts to join the churches of their choices. That they called it an experiment means thats how they saw it. Irvine was NOT doing the same thing as he had as a FM preacher and the 3 changes you mentioned above are not 'very little' - they were starting their own church denomination - which is something FM never did. And it wasn't just those 3 things either - they were introducing new teachings/doctrines and they were introducing a new hierarchy and they were introducing their own set of novel practices and they were introducing their own new brand - at the same time rejecting all other brands including FM. FM never preached that they had the only right ministry and they never started their own church and they never taught that meetings in the homes was the only right way and they never had their own version of the passover and they never claimed to be apostles of jesus christ and they never hid their beliefs or history and they never claimed that the only way to get salvation was thru their preaching and so forth right down the line.

Paul and his fellow labor's were called workers. FAITH Missions called their preachers workers so did William Irvine and the early 2x2 workers. The early workers realized the FAITH Mission was NOT the New Testament Church they want to be part of. They did NOT want to go back the churches they left or join any other churches. It was a miracle how the Holy Spirit gave them the knowledge and wisdom to establish and form the New Testament apostolic/workers ministry and Sunday morning worship.

And isn’t it evident ....N last statement totally contradicts what he repetitively says re apostolic succession. And so it goes on...
