I was recently introduced to The Truth by a close friend of mine and have been living in Boulder, Colorado and was hoping to find a place to attend. It has been just impossible to find. If someone can point me in the right direction I'd be extremely grateful.
Also, I guess since I am very new to The Truth, I'd really appreciate any feedback on how to start. Are there dress codes, and is it appropriate to just show up? Do I need to be invited? Is there a better time to go than others? Like hitting up a Wednesday meeting instead of starting on Sunday? Sorry to ask 100 questions, I am just very eager to get involved.

No, I was just visiting her and we spent a lot of time discussing our beliefs....Now I'm thousands of miles away and interested in finding out more.

That is one thing I hope they correct about technology. They need to make the internet and phone system more useful by allowing people to make phone calls or send emails across the continent instead of only within a limited area. Maybe some day we will have the ability to call across the ocean or send an email to another province. Or maybe someone will invent a way for us to send paper letters in envelopes. We could call it a postal system, maybe. Won't it be grand? Can you imagine? Happy day! Inventors of technology, unite! Create these systems!

Has anyone given you a helpful answer? I don't know any people there right offhand, but could easily find out.

Lin, shame on you. You have not done anywhere near the research that Cherie has done, yet you assume the right to use sarcasm to try to put her down. I doubt you have even ever read all that can be found at the link Cherie posted.
Lin, you and I have a deal of personal life history in common, do we not? However, you were never forced to beg God why you were absolutely and totally unjustly excommunicated from something you thought was indeed the only true way of God, not understanding that the LORD Yehu'shuah HIMSELF is the only true way.
Those who try to identify the 2&2 ministry system as being the way, or equal to Christ Himself, deceive only themselves and people who are looking for something, or someone other than the Lord to fill their needs. Cherie, as you know, and Lin does not, there are many who value the effort you have made to factually represent the 2&2 ministry group and its history, refusing to be a revisionist historian as some once were and others remain.
To the original poster, expressing from 45 years of devout involvement in that group, only to be falsely accused and then excommunicated from it because I simply knew too much (having been as deeply inside it as anyone possibly could) I encourage you to follow the link Cherie has posted. Read everything you can find there so you can enter into the group with knowledge many of us were denied when we accepted that teaching as "God's only true way on earth," and "workers" being God's only true servant apostles.

Nathan, your list of professing persons involved on this board seems a tad selective. Is there a reason for this?

Nathan says no reason, but perhaps he was referring to our previous posts in this thread?

Nathan, why do you not direct a newcomer to the real workers who are still workers? As they understand it the gospel can only be heard through them and not through exes, with respect!

When they hear that you have read and posted here on these board they will be alarmed, of course and will need to check you out to see if you are a bone fide seeker, for obvious reasons. This board is full of true christians, believers in Grace, reformers, dissenters, rebels, misunderstood, in varying degrees - depending on your point of view. It may be hard to get hold of a handbook, but you could start by reading the Bible, in particular the Gospels instead.

You know there are three sides to every coin - his opinion, her opinion, and the reality. A good researcher looks at supporting views, opposing views, and facts.
